Congenital Long QT Syndrome Drug List

Drugs to be Avoided, if possible, by Patients with
Congenital Long QT Syndrome (CLQTS)

This list includes all of the drugs on our three other lists of drugs that could possibly prolong the QT interval, plus some additional heart stimulant drugs that could be dangerous for some patients with CLQTS. If possible, the drugs listed here should be avoided by patients with diagnosed or suspected CLQTS.* Physicians with expertise in arrhythmia management may chose to prescribe or administer a medication on this list if it is medically necessary.
